Howdy. We’re sitting here getting ready for our Christmas Eve family time. We have C’s family over here so we can spend some time together. Her parents are going to the hospital later to spend some time with a friend who was hit by a car and we’re going to be at our Christmas Eve service. We’ll be coming back to be with the extended family after that and celebrate Christmas.

Whoah! Well, what do you know. G is learning how to say the alphabet. He can get up to G or so on his own, which we’ll try to record for you.

The new baby is getting bigger all the time and the name game is going fairly well. I think C might be coming around to my favourite name. We’ll see.

We went to our first Christmas party last night. We played a few games and had a good time. One game was where you paste the name of an object to your back but you don’t know what it is, so you have to ask yes/no questions of other people to find out what the object is. Pretty fun but I didn’t figure mine out.

Well, with work I had much to do before Christmas came, but I have most of that done now so I’m all set to slow down a bit next week and then take the following week off. Excellent!

Sorry, I haven’t written much lately. It’s been really busy, mostly at work. I guess that’s better than being bored. Business is pouring in.

Tonight, we went Christmas shopping and bought a few presents for people. That was fun. G is getting to be a real trooper when it comes to those things.

On a more personal note: Recently a couple of our friends decided to follow God and it’s been fun to see how their lives have turned around for the good. The self-destructive behaviour from the past is gone and is replaced by genuine happiness. Kewl!
