How come in the movies the evil guys are always riding a huge black horse (a Percheron?) which makes big heavy noise when it walks and grunts a lot? Seems a bit trite to me.

Adventures, FamilyWe went to family camp, which was pretty great. We had some great family time with walks in the woods and swimming, canoing, etc…
G is getting better at potty training. No accidents for 3 days, then he got a bit absent minded and went twice without thinking first. But better.

FamilyG is averaging just under one accident per day. He’ll learn but we’ve definitely made a switch in thinking so I’ll consider it done.

Adventures, ObservationsI guess this web log is becoming a bunch of stories about the john. So I was in the bathroom at a certain location a few days ago and somebody was sitting on the toilet and I heard his phone ring. No big deal right. So it rang a few times and I heard him pick it up. He was deciding whether or not to answer it. Then I heard, “Hello?”. He answered the phone while on the pot! OK, not the worst thing in the world, he just needed to talk softly and be cautious right? So he said a few sentences and then let a big one rip. Oops! Shouldn’t have answered the phone.

OpusesWe saw Stuart Little 2 with G last night. Not that great of a movie but it was good for a kid and it got a conversation started about lying and stealing with him so all in all not a bad deal.

AdventuresInteresting bathroom here. The light is switched through a motion detector so it turns on when you walk in. But it shuts off if it doesn’t detect motion for 30 seconds. So if you’re doing your business and don’t move for a minute, you’ll end up in the dark. But don’t worry, after the initial shock, you’ll remember the motion detector and just move a bit to turn the light back on.

FamilyOK, lots to cover. We vacationed for a week and mostly hung around and relaxt. We spent some time at Bay Beach Amusement park and at the camper and C and I went to a Church Leadership Summit in Chicago.
We won our last softball game (final record 2-13).
I have a new client closer to home (about a 15 min. drive).
B is really growing. He’s noticably gaining weight. And G is fully potty trained so it’s time to head to the theatre! Any good movies in the theatre for 2 year olds?

AdventuresWe won! 14-13 on tuesday. Our first win and I’m glad we got it. I guess it was a matter of time but we had fun and that’s the main thing right?
We also went swimming in Lake Butte Des Morts and watched the storm roll in. Somewhat adventurous.
