We had a great time at WI Dells over the weekend. G has no fear when it comes to the waterslides (I’m talking about the big ones). The smile on his face after the first ride was priceless. Even after we fell off the tube and he hit his face on the slide one time, he was ready to go again. And you can tell that in no time B is going to be a fish too. Oh yeah, and he’s saying his second word now: “UP!” (“Dada” was first)

ObservationsGet this: My sis was telling me that her pal from Canada was talking about all these television shows and movies they have in Canada that are banned in the US which is really quite absurd. Anyway, more evidence that Canucks are jealous (maybe subconciously) of US Americans so they have to act superior to hide it.

The boys are just great….
FamilyThe boys are just great. B fell into the tub yesterday morning. I just chuckled and said maybe you won’t lean so far next time. He didn’t 🙂 I think G has been behaving better lately. He is obeying better, playing so well with B and is so much fun to be with. He hides every day when I get home and waits for me to find him :). Twice this week, he hid in his closet for at least 30 min. before I got home!

AdventuresAh yes! Back from vacation to the old grind. Vacation wasn’t so much of a feeling useless and depressed drag this time around so that’s good. I think I’m finding that staying close to God and His purposes for my life is the key to that.
Of course I got back to work this morning and promptly lost 6 weeks worth of programming to a silly procedural snafu in the computer system. I’ll have to wait until at least this afternoon and probably tomorrow to get it back. Ain’t it grand?! 🙂

OpusesWe went to see “The Two Towers” last night with 8 guys at the 10pm show. That was a good time. The movie was incredible. From everything I’ve been hearing I was afraid the movie would veer far off course from the book’s story but it was generally accurate. I was actually afraid it was too accurate and might be hard to follow for those who hadn’t read the book but they said that wasn’t the case.
Into the theater we each smuggled a can of Pepsi, and in the silence after the previews, before the feature, we opened them in sequence. “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”, “Chchshsh”! Oh yeah!

FamilyThis morning B sat up by himself in his crib and was crawling in place on the kitchen floor. He wants to get around so bad lately that he slides on his belly but he’ll be crawling soon. He’s also started to immitate us when we make a growling ‘ahhh!’ sound. What fun!
