I decided to search the web last week for the name of my grandpa’s ship in World War 2 and interestingly enough found a whole web site about the USS Whitehurst. Very nice. I’ve been corresponding with a couple of the guys who write for the site and hope to find out more about my grandpa and the war.

We had our company outing on Saturday. That was a really long day. We had fun swimming and did a little bit of wakeboarding. The games galore guys were there and they were pretty fun. Overall it was pretty long.

Yesterday we tried to relax as much as possible. We got to hear a missionary pilot speak sunday morning, then we had lunch with him and his family at the Smith’s house. Then we took a really long nap. It was really needed. We had our friends the Wojtowski’s over last night and played UNO attack which was a somewhat interesting game. Hopefully we can relax some more tonight before getting back into the week again…

We won our softball game on Tuesday. Now our team is .500. C is so awesome. I’ve been playing 1st base so it’s fun to play with C at 3rd.

Wow, it’s been a busy week.

We went to a 4-day music festival here in Oshkosh, which can really wear you out if you try to work and rock 4 days in a row. We also put in a new garden in the front of the house. Now the sump drainage will be covered up :).

Now we just need to do some camping….

good news: we will be getting all a full benefit from our insurance claim. The adjuster was a bit confused about which policy we had but we got that straightened out and everything should be paid for. Now to get things back in order…

Wow. G is being a little stinker the last few days. A little terrible 2’s at 1 and a half. I think part of it is that he was up too late last night. He went to bed early tonight. Hopefully he will be better tomorrow.

The insurance adjuster called and tried to lowball us on our claim. We hopefully got him straightened out and he’ll give us a fair shake. The GT-3 only cost $42 to get fixed so that’s a relief.
