Off the Top

The drywall in the basement is up and the joints are done and it is all textured and ready to paint. I love it when stuff gets done. I’m off of work for a couple days so I get to work on it too. Well, back to work.

Announcing a new section to the web site: Adam’s Axioms. In this portion of the site, I will share with you ideas that I have come up with on my own that I think will hold up in court.

These aren’t all the details but I really had an excellent weekend: Saturday, we had a party for my future bro-in-law, which was fun. I scored 1048 at Laser Tag. Sunday started off a little on the shaky side but turned out great. I have a friend who has been trying to figure out if following Jesus is the right thing to do for quite a while and he decided to become a Christian. Of course later on the Packer’s stunk the place up so I shut the game off after 3 quarters. Ugh.

Things are coming along nicely. Only one more coat of mud on the drywall should do it. We also got to painting the baby’s room too.

Well, the basement is coming along nicely. The drywall is all on and ready to be mudded. After that, it’s just carpet and trim . Exciting. I’ve been really blessed with people who are eager to help out. Thanks.

I’m a bit late but on Sunday G walked into the bathroom and shut the door and we’re thinking what’s he doing? So I went in there and he was standing next to the toilet with his pants down so I took his diaper off and he went! Of course, it’s not the first time so we’ll see if the pattern gets any better. Hopefully

Let’s see. Christmas was fun. Vacation was fun. We got a chance to spend a whole day with my mom’s side of the family, all in one house. Luckily it was quite large. We got to see the cousins from FL. G got quite a bit less sleep over that stretch so he got into a bad mood now and then but he’s catching up and we’re sure glad. Back to the old grind.
