Ever notice how TV commercials are using rock and pop music more and more these days. The ironic part is how a lot of what they use is music from the 60s and 70s that was supposed to be anti-establishment. The most ironic is one I saw last night with a relatively new song. A commercial for Chevy that used Smashmouth’s “Walking on the Sun”, a rant against the baby boomers who rejected their anti-establishment ideals and sold out to commercialism.
